ABOUT LEARNING AT MoMA
We work with a variety of nonprofit community organizations throughout New York City.
- Plan a one-time event, an ongoing partnership, or a professional development workshop at MoMA or off-site
- Work with us to tailor a program to the children, young adults, adults, families, or older adults your organization serves
Request a reservation for your organization after reviewing the audiences we serve from the list below. Once your visit is scheduled, a MoMA educator will contact you to further tailor the visit and lesson to meet your needs.
Request ReservationWith advance notice, we can provide educators who speak other languages.

You may also request a sign language interpreter or FM assistive listening devices (headsets and neck loops) for any program with at least two weeks advance notice.

Who We Serve
Community Organization Staff
Participate in both on- and off-site workshops designed for staff, volunteers, coordinators, and managers of community organizations, and community leaders.

Organizations Serving Youth & Adults
Explore various aspects of modern and contemporary art in interactive sessions that engage participants in discussion, and can include art making. See the Teen section for many more programs.

Organizations serving ABE, GED, & Adult ESOL
Acquire literacy skills through engagement with works of art in MoMA’s collection. Experience MoMA through observation, analysis, and discussion.

Organizations Serving Mentors/Mentees
Explore MoMA's collection with your mentor/mentee in a fun, interactive two-hour session that includes discussion as well as sketching and art making.

Organizations Serving Older Adults
Look closely and discuss modern and contemporary art. Single or multipart programs are available at MoMA and off-site at community organizations, libraries, and senior centers.

Welcome to MoMA: Introductory Tours and Workshops for Groups of Families
Learn to integrate the arts into everyday family life and also into your children’s education.

Participate in a teleconference course or take a course online. Led by MoMA educators, these programs allow individuals to experience the museum's collection without leaving home.
