Q. How do I download the free MoMA iPhone/iPod Touch app?
A. Go to the Apple App Store using this direct link: http://www.itunes.com/app/moma.
Q. How do I download the free MoMA Android app?
A. Go to the Android Market on your phone or scan the QR code on this page with a barcode-scanning app on your Android phone.
Q. How do I access the free WiFi at the Museum using an iPhone or iPod Touch?
A. Please follow these instructions when using an iPhone or iPod Touch:
- Go to Settings
- Select Wi-Fi
- Make sure Wi-Fi is ON
- Click on the blue arrow next to MoMA WiFi and make sure Auto-Join is turned ON
- Accept the terms of service on the MoMA WiFi Login page if prompted
- Now you are ready to start using the free MoMA WiFi
- Go to Settings
- Select Wireless & networks
- Make sure Wi-Fi is On
- Select Wi-Fi settings
- Select MoMA WiFi
- Accept the terms of service on the MoMA WiFi Login page if prompted when opening a browswer window
- Now you are ready to start using the free MoMA WiFi
Q. How do I access the free WiFi at the Museum using an Android?
A. Please follow these instructions when using an Android:
Q. Where is WiFi available in the Museum?
A. MoMA WiFi is available throughout the Museum. The signal might be weaker in elevators, around escalators, in Café 2, and in the Sculpture Garden. Please be patient; as soon as you move to areas where the signal is stronger you will be able to continue accessing the WiFi. MoMA WiFi does not cover the Education and Research Building.
Q. Does MoMA have a mobile site?
A. MoMA's new mobile site, optimized for iPhones/iPod Touches and Android, is now available.

Q. Who created the MoMA App?
A. The MoMA iPhone App was created by MoMA's Digital Media Department, in collaboration with Sastry Appajosyula of Rendermonkey, with additional thanks to Amelle Stein. The MoMA Android App was created by MoMA's Digital Media Department, in collaboration with Shawn Van Every of Walking Productions.
