Documentary Fortnight: MoMA's International Festival of Nonfiction Film highlights the art of the documentary. Established in 2001, MoMA's annual two-week showcase of recent nonfiction film and video takes place each February. This selection of international feature-length and short documentaries from around the world represents the wide range of creative categories that extend the idea of the documentary form and reflect on new areas of nonfiction practice. New Directors/New Films 2012


March 21–April 1, 2012

Now in its 41st year, the renowned New Directors/New Films festival, presented jointly by The Film Society of Lincoln Center and The Museum of Modern Art, introduces New York audiences to the work of emerging or not-yet-established filmmakers from around the world. This year the festival takes place at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center and at The Roy and Niuta Titus Theater 1 at MoMA.
